وذكرت صحيفة “ديلي ميل” أن النجم الكوميدي المعروف أشار إلى العلاقة “المثيرة للاهتمام” بين عائلات كل من الرئيس السابق، جورج بوش، وزعيم تنظيم القاعدة، أسامة بن لادن.
وذكر “براند”، خلال المقابلة أنه لا يريد مناقشة نظريات مؤامرة “سخيفة”، إلا أنه تساءل حول مدى ثقة الناس فى الحكومتين الأمريكية والبريطانية.
واتهم براند “بي بي سي” بترويج “روايات معادية للإسلام” خلال تغطيتها للهجوم المسلح على البرلمان التركي، وذلك عقب ضغط مضيف البرنامج على تعليقات في كتابه عن أحداث 11 سبتمبر، إلا أن براند رفض استبعاد احتمال أن تكون الحكومة الأمريكية متورطة.
