Ordinary a Journalist or a television anchor should check the credential of the person making the clam, also should check his sources so if we have to hide behind Democracy we must also respect the other side in this case is Mr Kenan. He is Innocent to proven otherwise. So the responsibility lie on the station’s management and mostly the anchor her self. If she is truly guiding against democracy. She must make sure that the information regarding the allegation is absolutely true on order to air it. Mr Kenan is a lawyer and know what she did was wrong, i think this why he over reacted, but so did the anchor . But most of all MR kenan has a big case against the station for defamation and God know what other terms has the Lebanese constitution.

العرب متاخرين مليون سنه ضوئيه عن مبادئ الديمقراطيه

استغرب من الاخوة والاخوات عملية نقل ما حدث من جدل ما كان له ان يحذث لو عف لسان المتصل كان من كان عن التلقظ بالفاظ غير لائقة ، الى هذا الموقع ،،، لبنان لم تشذ عن القاعدة الديموقراطية فما حدث يحدث كل يوم في اعرق البرلمانات العالمية وبين المعارضين بعضهم بعضا ، فهناك قد يتراشقون ( اكرمكم الله ) بالاحذية ويضربون بعضهم باللكمات والى ما ذالك من التصرفات الغير لائقة … لبنان ،،، هي الديموقراطية الوحيدة في الشرق الاوسط ، رضي من رضى ورفض ذلك من رفض ودخل لبث الفتنة هنا والتهجم على اللبنانيين والعرب ، نحن العرب نتمنى في كل بلادنا تلك المديموقراطية ….الموضوع بسيط جدا فدعونا لا نعطيه حجما اكبر مما يستحق ….

The response level to national disaster is great but it’s a damn shame that so many citizens take advantage of the sad situations.

I mean everytime there is an earthquake, a flood, an oil spill – there’s always a group of heartless people who rip off tax payers.

This is in response to reading that 4 of Oprah Winfreys “angels” got busted ripping off the system. Shame on them!
