أطلقت الهند، أمس، أرخص جهاز كمبيوتر لوحي في العالم، يحمل اسم (أكاش) يبلغ ثمنه 35 دولاراً وسيباع مقابل سعر أقصى بالتجزئة يصل إلى 60 دولاراً.
ونقلت وسائل الإعلام الهندية عن الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة (داتاويند) سونيت سينغ تولي، قوله: إن مبلغ الـ 60 دولاراً هو “السعر الأقصى المقترح للبيع بالتجزئة” للنسخة التجارية من الكمبيوتر اللوحي، وسيكون في الجهاز مودم لاسلكي وخط هاتف، لن يتوفرا في الجهاز الذي يبلغ سعره 35 دولاراً الذي ستحصل عليه الحكومة, لدعم الطلاب والطالبات في الهند.
وتعمل النسختان من الجهاز حسب برنامج (أندرويد) من (جوجل) ويمكنه الاتصال بشبكة الإنترنت عبر تقنية (وايفاي) ويبلغ حجم ذاكرة الوصول العشوائي (رام) 256 ميجابايت بالإضافة إلى خانة توسيع ذاكرة تبلغ 32 جيجابايت ومخرجين للناقل المتسلسل العام (يو إس بي), ومن المقرر أن تتوفر النسخة التجارية في الأسواق في الهند خلال 60 يوماً.
